IT & web applications audits
In completing an IT & web applications audit we undertake a complete or partial review and analysis of your existing IT infrastructure and technology solutions as well as all web applications that you have deployed so far. Therefore, it is important to understand, that the audit itself consists not just of a hardware & software analysis but also of processes and methodology used to manage them.
In fact, a review of used development methodology is the first, and in many cases the key, aspect of such an audit. We will analyse project management processes and tools (e.g. code repository, issue tracking systems etc.) being used in your company as well as standards and procedures (e.g. software staging process, quality assurance procedure etc.).
The second step of the audit is analysis of your current hardware architecture and determining exactly how stable it is, and how scalable, available and flexible it should be in order to be able to deliver specific results according to given business requirements.
The third and final stage of the analysis process is a review of deployed applications, from the point of view of their current performance, scalability and future flexibility. We also assess how well they fit into the overall business environment and business goals of the company.
Finally, at the last stage we will compile all our finding and outcomes into one neat document. It will summarize all strengths and weaknesses of your current web & IT system as well as ways to improve it, in the short- and long-term. We always take into consideration increasing work effectiveness and following main business goals as the main strategic aims of any proposed change.
Of course, once we finish and deliver our technical audit outcomes, our role can be extended to actually implementing proposed changes. In such cases we can take responsibility for active project management and/or change management according to agreed requirements.
